Trout River
A boardwalk runs the length of the beach in Trout River giving you a chance to stroll the ocean's edge and take in what our quiet little town has to offer.
This is a traditional fishing community and was originally settled by George Crocker and his family in 1815. There's plenty to see and do in the area with the Tablelands, Green Gardens, and Trout River Pond nearby. The Trout River Interpretation Centre has a comprehensive list of sites and events that will help round out your visit to our neck of the woods.
